I’m  riding high from the Winter Renewal kick-off call Monday night.   I can’t believe all will start in just a few days!

We have a big group of beautiful souls signed on, and while I prepare to lead this tribe of healthy peeps, I’ve been delving into some desire work.

Usually around the end of January, efforts to begin new habits fizzle out. Many of us start out like gangbusters or if you are like me, get a slow start.  We just can’t do it all, all at once (work out 6 times a week, floss before bed, take vitamins, eat healthy…) .   So it is natural  to struggle with change.

I’ve been reading Danielle LaPorte’s The Desire Map.  Danielle talks about feelings…what are you tired of feeling? How do you WANT to feel?  What do you desire?

I’m not big on the resolution thing, but I do insist on getting to the root of how I want to feel.

I want to feel like a flowing goddess, confident, with a sparkle in my eye.  I desire to feel athletic, strong,  with a sense of adventure and not holding back if something seems scary.    I want to feel satisfaction that I served my community with authenticity and compassion. 

What do you want to feel?

After our cleanse last year, my husband and I broke some of our unhealthy eating habits. I would like to cleanse again to encourage these healthy eating behaviors also for our two daughters.

After a couple of years or non-stop chaos (mostly work-related), I am hoping that 2013 is the year I recommit to eating a plant-based diet CONSISTENTLY and rediscovering my love of running and racing. Work isn’t any slower, but I’m working on some new strategies to balance things a little better.

I want to be glowing from the inside and out. I want to feel light hearted and full of joy. I want my heart to be open to others as well as myself. I want to be comfortable with who I am and enjoy the beauty in all those around me. I want to feel strong and empowered but always full of grace.

I want to move more. I’ve started jogging and want to keep it up. Feels so much better to move… as long as I can make that first step out the door!

When I first saw the information for the winter renewal, I felt like it was speaking directly to me. Yes, I was feeling the effects of lots of holiday indulgences – sluggish and heavier. The idea of doing a cleanse and getting myself back into balance was irresistable, so I signed up then and there. My goal is to start the year off right with healthy eating and healthy behaviors. I want to feel natural energy and reduce my 4-cup a day coffee habit to something more reasonable. I also want to reduce my daily craving for dessert. I would love it if I also lost a few pounds.

My goal is to have more energy this year. For me and my 5 children. I am also looking to instill heathier eating habbits for me and my family. I would like to be in a better mood and feel better without feeling that I need another cup of coffee. I am hoping to fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans now that my baby is 7-months-old! And lastly, through this, I am hoping to find my way back to the gym. Here’s to a happy and healthier 2013!

    Erin, for one thing, your baby is still a baby! Please give yourself some more time. I remember getting a gym membership when Jack was 4 months old and that was very motivating for me…at least to get there a few times a week. Hi Folks!

I have really enjoyed using the new receipes that I have received during this experience. The ones that I most enjoy are the breakfast recipes. It’s nice to have new and innovative ways to eat food!

I don’t have any ailment persay, but I think important to cleanse the body from time to time so it has time to relax.

I have said it before, I love the way I feel mid-detox and after…glowing skin, body functioning naturally and regularly (lets be honest) 😉 and overall energy. For 2013 I am focusing on ME. I have three children and this Mommy has spent all her time focusing on them and my surroundings. I would like to lose weight for my wedding.
I know that a juice cleanse is a great way to jumpstart a diet and eliminate cravings but get easily discouraged by the initial investment of organic produce and its time consuming for me to juice due to my lack of proper equipment. But I know that these are just excuses…

      I do see that you make packs for up to 4 days, which is great but don’t the enzymes start breaking down once exposed to air? I thought if you don’t drink the juice right away, it loses its benefits.

        You are so welcome! Yes, with a centrifugal juicer, that is true. We cold-press the juices which allows for up to 3 days of freshness and enzyme-rich juices.

I am that person who starts out strong not just in January each year, but every Monday of each week. I set my expectations too high and then when I have a slip up, I throw the towel in. (I can’t grasp the 80/20… it’s all or nothing for me.) Unfortunately my “failures” are having an effect on other areas in my life. I’m sad, distracted and frustrated. I did the winter detox last year, and the results were fantastic! I felt so much better – more energy, clearer thinking, brighter skin!!! I also finished with much improved eating habits. Alas, after the holidays I have fell into a spiral of bad habits and processed foods. 🙁 I need that kick start back to eating healthy again, this is great motivation.
My goal for the year is to try to impart these healthier eating habits to my children, to reduce their intake of processed foods so they grow up happier and healthier!

Last year’s detox really helped me change some bad habits and I have shared what I have learned with friends. Recently I joined a boot camp in an effort to get my body in cruise shape! My goal is to reset my eating habits! I’ve taken up practicing Bikram yoga regularly and I feel like my body is going in the right direction, but now I have to get my eating under control! I feel like a cleanse would be a great way to get started.

Since I was a teenager I’ve struggled with acne. I’m 28 now and was always waiting to get through the “acne phase.” Having bad acne really rocked my self confidence. I tried every product on the market, and everything my doctor prescribed. About a year ago I stopped wearing makeup on my face and covering up my acne. This actually helped a lot, but not completely. Recently I have made significant changes to my diet. I’ve tried to cut out dairy as much as possible and I’m drinking green smoothies every morning…and OMG my acne scars are disappearing and I’m not getting new breakouts!!! I wish I had figured this out years ago! I’m so amazed and my self confidence has returned. I want to continue on this food journey…I want to eliminate dairy completely and become more plant based and eat less meat. The two changes I already eliminated healed my acne in months and I truly see how much eating the right foods can heal my body!

SOS AND IN NEED OF THIS DETOX. I joined a gym in Nov and have lost 15lbs. I am at a stand still. I need to jump start my eating habits. This is what is holding me back. I have long wanted to be a part of a detox, however, life has gotten in the way and winning this would be a gift.

I had triplets in May 2012 and am still trying to shrink my baby bump. Almost there! I watched Forks Over Knives and am reading the China Study. For me, it’s not about eating cheesesteaks and pizza and then detoxing. It’s a lifestyle change that I’m encouraged to keep for my longevity and my children. I will NOT be one of the many people around me who suffer from unnecessary illness.
