I’m riding high from the Winter Renewal kick-off call Monday night. I can’t believe all will start in just a few days!
We have a big group of beautiful souls signed on, and while I prepare to lead this tribe of healthy peeps, I’ve been delving into some desire work.
Usually around the end of January, efforts to begin new habits fizzle out. Many of us start out like gangbusters or if you are like me, get a slow start. We just can’t do it all, all at once (work out 6 times a week, floss before bed, take vitamins, eat healthy…) . So it is natural to struggle with change.
I’ve been reading Danielle LaPorte’s The Desire Map. Danielle talks about feelings…what are you tired of feeling? How do you WANT to feel? What do you desire?
I’m not big on the resolution thing, but I do insist on getting to the root of how I want to feel.
I want to feel like a flowing goddess, confident, with a sparkle in my eye. I desire to feel athletic, strong, with a sense of adventure and not holding back if something seems scary. I want to feel satisfaction that I served my community with authenticity and compassion.
