The Clean Green Smoothie is a perfect meal or snack for easing inflammation, especially stress. The ginger is the key ingredient!

Ginger has TONS of amazing benefits:

  • eases morning sickness for the mamas to be (I remember always having ginger cookies on hand!)
  • reduces inflammation (Oh, I already said that, but it is one of the #1 herbs to do that!) It’s a natural pain killer.
  • boosts immunity
  • eases headaches and heartburn
  • supports digestion

And if you need a tip to keep things prepped and ready (to ease the stress), our lovely Melanie has a great one:

I set one in the fridge the night before to thaw out. Then I add the necessary liquid (water, almond milk, etc). I’m using a nutribullet. I use fresh spinach usually. They are wilted after freezing & thawing, but are still bright green.

Ingredients:
1 cup kale
2 cups almond milk
½ cup cranberries
1 banana (frozen)
1 pear, stem removed
¼ tsp. ground ginger
