How Does It Work?

Once you sign up by entering your name and email in the box, you will receive your Smoothie Challenge welcome email from me.

You can then join the Smoothie Challenge Facebook group. You can start chatting with fellow participants AND invite any of your friends (very much encouraged).

You will be smoothie making for 21 days, just one smoothie a day. You will also receive the menu plan and shopping lists ahead of time so you are prepared and ready to blend each week. You will continue on with your regular meals; just adding a smoothie to the mix!

Food alert! You’ll be adding greens like spinach, kale and sometimes chard to smoothies with fruit and veggies. Make sure you have these items on hand. Think berries, apples, pears, mangoes, avocados, bananas… with optional boosts of almond butter, flaxseeds, and plant-based milks.

I strive to have greens every single day (if not at every single meal). It’s so simple to hide greens in smoothies, sauces, soups, wraps, bowls, EVERYWHERE. And with the enormous health benefits, why not stuff them into everything? ~ Lisa McDonnell

Why the GREEN stuff?

Dark leafy greens are nutritional powerhouses. Greens like kale and spinach are packed with tons of nutrients you body needs to boost immunity and keep your organs in tip top shape. Greens contain vitamins A, C, and K plus folate, potassium and calcium. In fact, did you know that greens like spinach have protein, too? And chlorophyll. This is a special sauce nutrient you MUST have in your diet! Chlorophyll feeds your cells and helps balance out your pH level within in the blood. Let’s just say chlorophyll eases inflammation. Inflammation causes pain and chronic disease so pumping the green stuff is crucial to our health. Also if you are active, or an athlete, you’ll notice you’ll get faster and recover quicker due to the chlorophyll magic. The GREEN benefits are endless:

  • weight loss (yep, it can happen when you’re not looking!)

  • decreased belly fat and bloating

  • feeling lighter

  • tons of energy

  • a more balanced pH level hence less inflammation

  • fewer cravings for unhealthy foods (esp. the sugar)

  • glowing and clear skin

  • clear, positive thoughts

  • feeling calm and ease

  • and a happier mood and attitude to get you through the busy season.

There are tons of takeaways from Lisa’s programs, but the best one for me is smoothies at breakfast. I am addicted to green smoothies made from lots of baby spinach or kale. They taste good – fill me up and I can make one quickly as I run out the door. Definitely a “keeper”! ~ Kim Coble

I’m still going strong with my morning green smoothie. I prep my greens & fruit the night before. In the morning, I add either nut milk or water & vegan protein powder. Love my New Ritual!!! Healthy start to a New Year! Thanks Lisa! ~ Chrissy Palko

Maria NordstromWhat an awesome day to celebrate who we are, not just the completion of the 21 day challenge! This is the beginning to our next healthy adventure! Smoothies are now a staple around here for sure. My husband is afraid that the smoothies are going to stop after this weekend (and that is coming from the no veggie eating person!) but I reassured him that I am just as hooked on this as he is! Yay Lisa for making such green lovers out of the two of us! ~ Maria Nordstrom

So thankful for this new found morning routine (or afternoon as I sleep in a lot). Never have to worry about what I’m doing for breakfast, it’s all there and yummy every time! ~ Alison Harbaugh
