Pumpkin Smoothie
Whose craving pumpkin this time of year?
Just walk into any Starbucks and the temptation to get the Pumpkin Spice Latte is overwhelming. Who can say no to that?
If you want a healthier twist to a pumpkin drink (and avoid tons of unwanted calories), try my Pumpkin Smoothie. In fact, I just made a glass. I had a few extra cans of pumpkin pie mix in the cupboard (I’m stocking up for some pie making soon).
First you start with your ingredients:
1 can of Organic Pumpkin Pie mix
2 1/2 cups of unsweetened almond milk
Cinnamon to top it off
I used my Vitamix to blend the ingredients. I’m in total love with this kitchen tool. It blends things up really fast not to mention you can make dips, soups, stews, drinks, (I can go on and on).
Directions:
Put the pumpkin pie mix and almond milk in the blender.
Blend.
Add more almond milk if needed to thin it out.
Pour into a fancy glass.
Sprinkle on the cinnamon.
Voila!
The best part is to serve it warm.
Now I can sip this tasty pumpkin drink at my desk before the kids get home from school. I have some left over so they will get surprise treat!

It’s actually a super alternative to pumpkin spice lattes! Just warm it up. Yum!
