Ready? Heeeeere’s Sneaky Trap #5!
Eat! Mangia! Whatever you like to call it. That is my recommendation. Skipping meals is a no-no in my book. Even if you have to set your phone or a timer every 3 hours, do it, please. Fuel your body so she gets proper nutrition and keeps your metabolism going. Now when I say eat, I don’t mean just anything. Try to go with whole foods that contain a good fat, carb and protein.
What do you think of these snacks?
- Cut a banana in half and add peanut butter in the middle (all natural, just peanuts). I like to use almond butter, too.
- Veggie sticks (try cucumber, mushrooms, or pepper) and dip (hummus, bean dip, salsa or your favorite dressing)
- Fresh fruit mixed with slivered almonds, walnuts, or pecans (raw nuts if possible)
Do you have a snack that tides you over until the next meal? If so, share away!

Lara Bars are the best! They have fewer ingredients than most other bars. I like low fat, organic cottage cheese and pineapple as a snack. Probably would be better if I used a local, fresh fruit like an apple.
Great snack choices! The key is to fuel every 2-3 hours. You are the best, Mindy!
