2 Things You MUST Do Every Morning


I woke up with a stuffy nose and sore throat. I knew it…I haven’t been keeping up with my daily “insurance” routine.

A few weeks ago,  I  went on a business trip to NYC and while it was amazing and tons of fun, I didn’t get much sleep and hung out with a friend who was sick.  I kept washing my hands, but I knew deep down that I needed my protection.

When I go away, I tend to let go of routines, but I know better when it comes to my top 2 ways to start the day.

What is my “insurance?”  Protection?

I make sure to do 2 things every single morning. I try not to skip because I’ll do anything not to get sick.  I’ve been pretty lucky and can say that I hardly get sick and when I do, I tend not to get a full-blown illness.

2 Must Have mornings

1.  Drink water with lemon immediately upon waking. I have a glass or my water bottle on the nightstand or next to my bed at all times. Even drink up before you hit the shower.


You are dehydrated from your body naturally detoxifying overnight. It’s been 7-8 hours without drinking so you want to boost your metabolism and get your cells moving.  Also, the lemon alkalizes in your blood and is an anti-inflammatory.

2. Take a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.


I know, this doesn’t taste good at first, but you will get used to it. In fact, some clients mentioned that they can’t live without their ACV!

Hey Lisa!

Thank you for this πŸ™‚ I need a reminder. I love the Braggs as a salad dressing, but believe it or not, have NEVER heard of this use before – but have often felt drawn to drink it (but thought it was super weird). OK thank you for that!
