Fall Renewal Detox Giveaway!



Hmmmm, the word can cause various reactions.

Some exciting:

“I can’t wait to feel amazing!”  “I love getting compliments about how good I look!”

Some funny:

“Do I need to stick to the bathroom all day long?”  “I don’t want to starve to death.”

And some negative:

“I can never give up coffee. Hells no.”  “Are you some type of detox hippy girl?”

I totally get it.  If you Google “detox”, you’ll find some scary sh** out there.

I actually did my first detox about 12 years ago with my acupuncturist.  I remember spending $200 on a bag of supplements and a mix I had to  drink in the mornings. It was pasty and tasted like dirt (although, never really ate dirt before, well, maybe when I was a toddler).

I lasted 4 out of the 10 days.  I couldn’t do it.  I was hungry all the time since we weren’t allowed to have food except for a broth.

Even though my experience was horrible, it spurred on an interest for me.

After tons of research, training, and getting certified in holistic nutrition, I developed a safe, effective detox where you can EAT.

I’m excited to share Fall Renewal 10 Day Detox with you, but I know you probably have some q’s so I invited detox grad, Robin Hallett to talk about her detox experience.

Hmmm… healthy goal/intention for this fall…I’ll start by saying my body has been very forgiving. I rarely cook, unless using a microwave counts as cooking (in which case, I’m a professional chef).lol. I heard about eating “clean” and upon researching the concept, I learned that what I view as healthy is actually quite the opposite. My current diet is full of processed foods that I was duped into believing were somehow good for me. I’d like to be more aware of what I am actually putting into my body and make better dietary choices.

Being aware is the first step, and with detox, you will know immediately if a food does or doesn’t work for you. Good Morning!

My detox is to keep it simple and cleanse.

I’ve lost weight, I don’t emotionally eat anymore (like I used too) and at this point in my life I am looking to continue my healthy lifestyle.

I’m not a bit girl, but I had gained 10-15 llbs over the past 3-4 years. I’m now smaller than I was 3 years ago and happy and proud of it!

I incorporate the morning shakes in my daily work schedule and I really enjoy the butternut squash\nut\apple cidar vinegar recipe.

For the past couple of months I have been trying to change my eating habits. I have tried around four different detoxes including, dr.oz 48hr cleanse, drinking herbalife shakes, and juicing and blending. But I start good and give up half way due to my hunger and cravings.
I want a healthy detox that can help me feel less bloated and jumpstart my heaIthy eating habits. My main goal is to release my body from toxins and like I said earlier jumpstart my healthy eating habits. I am aware that motivation is key and that I would benefit from this program because you offer motivation as well. Thank you for the consideration. I’m ready to work on my health 🙂 have a great day.

Awesome video! You ladies are so full of love and warmth it makes me want to be part of the community! I am looking to reduce inflammation caused by unhealthy eating and stress. I love the 80/20 rule but sometimes that ratio can get skewed when everything is screaming YOLO. My goal is to find a renewed sense I healthy lifestyle through a cleanse that is not starving and miserable. And who doesn’t want a better complexion 😉 I also want to try more soothing and healing exercise such as yoga instead of always feeling the need to punish my body for eating poorly through excessive intense workouts. I would love to be on the fall renewal journey with you all!!! I think it’s great timing to set a strong mindset going into the major indulgent holiday season -Halloween, thanksgiving, Christmas. Summer has taken a toll on my eating and exercise habits, and it’s time to reel it all back in! With the start of school and the changing of seasons, autumn has always felt more like a new year to me than the ACTUAL New Year, so what better time to restart? I feel so much more energized and less bloated when I’m eating clean, healthy foods… I’m looking forward to it!

One healthy goal/intention I have for fall is not to let stress make my food choices. I want to be better at planning out meal options for me and my family. I don’t want eating on the fly to be fast food or processed chicken nuggets. I want to search out easy go to options for last minute meals and snacks. Sometimes I let life consume me to where I take the easy way out on meal planning!

My healthy goal for this fall is to reconnect with my body physically and spiritually. What am I putting into my body and how does it effect me? I think it is important to look at this and I love that this detox walks with you through the process. Do you ever get the feeling that you just want to do a cartwheel? I do (I often act on that feeling) and I feel a detox would probably keep me in cartwheels.

I have never done a detox like this, only the three day juice cleanse and that has introduced me to a healthy addition to my diet, Even though my kids think I am nuts for drinking “the mud” I can’t help but smile as I know that it will rub off on them. As a vegetarian I am very interested in learning new healthy recipes that I can share with the family. I hope to participate in one of your detoxes, glowing skin also sounds great!

Absolutely enjoyed the video! So much information at my fingertips. On a daily basis I see so many “detox” deals on Groupon and LivingSocial, it’s quite overwhelming to know what is what.

My goal is to find balance and gain energy. I essentially have two full time jobs, by day I work in the non-profit sector and night a pastry chef (so you can imagine I’m not always eating the best types of food that I could be.) I believe a good renewal detox can help me take the better path to improving my eating habits to find the balance I seek.

Have so many friends that have done the juice cleanse and detox. Have heard wonderful things! We have two young girls and have really tried to make our/their diet the best that it can be. I would love to add many more vegetarian options to their diet and ours. So my goal would be to go through the detox and learn all the pieces that would really fit into our family diet and implement them moving forward. I want to be healthy for my girls and in turn teach them how they too can be healthy! Would simply LOVE this opportunity.

Great video! I have done a similar program through a local gym and had great results. However that was two years ago…before I worked full time and was a full time evening law student. It seems like since i’ve been in school I have just become overwhelmed with stress, adding not enough sleep, an unused gym membership, and a full time office job sitting down–I have become the epitome of unhealthy behavior. I am a vegetarian, but I am not making good choices and I turn to comfort foods too often. I’m only halfway done with my law school career, if I keep things the way they are, I don’t know if I can keep up. I don’t want this to be my new reality and just say ok, this is just how it is until I finish school. I think the detox is just what I need to recharge. Hopefully I can find the time to prepare the meals for the detox 🙂 Thanks Lisa, I’ve heard good things about the program.

My goal for fall is to give up gluten and hopefully sugar. I have Lyme disease and have a ton of inflammation. I did a raw food kick for about a yr many years ago so I know I can do it. I think I need a kick in the tush and some good people to help me along the way. I am hoping to win this. due to a ton of medical bills I have from Lyme we are very short on cash so this would be a great start for me. Thx

    I’m so sorry to hear about your Lyme’s…many of my friends are being diagnosed lately. I live in MD where it’s pretty prevalent. As for detox, you can TOTALLY do it. No doubt about it. It’s really just eating clean, no craziness. Best of luck!

I’m so looking forward to my second detox with you Lisa. I love the extra energy and the great recipes. My husband and I have been still enjoying all of the raw renewal recipes on a regular basis! Hoping to feel lighter in mind and body after this round. Can’t wait until Monday.

One detox “funny”, I mentioned detoxing to someone. Said, oh I’m starting a detox on Monday. The look of shock on their face made me realize they thought I was headed to chemical substance detox, not just removing dairy, gluten, meat, etc. Made me laugh!

Hi Lisa- As you may know, I am a huge Robin Hallet fan! She is amazing and a wonderful video of the two of you. I am a health nut and love learning more and more. I’ve recently begun my own practice as a Reiki Practitioner and what I’ve found is that when I’m clean and healthy and there is an abundance of self love for myself through my diet- it comes through with my sessions. One of the major problems I have though is putting my emotions on my plate as I eat. I like to eat large meals and not necessarily smaller meals throughout the day. The Fall Renewal Program sounds amazing- my friend Kathy has shared her detoxes with Lisa and has not gone back to coffee! We have been friends since grade school and try to support eachother long distance with healthy tips and support – would love to do this journey together- coffee is my vice too!

As I sit here on Day 3 of the Furlough that has affected our family (and so many of our friends and colleagues) I see myself falling into familiar, bad habits. The mind knows what to do but the body has other ideas. The mindless pattern of relieving stress through food, wine and caffeine. So many healthy goals for the fall…but my first is to start going to bed before midnight. Use sleep and clean eating to reduce cortisol levels and calm inflammation – that has to be a good thing!

My intention for Fall Renewal is to “Keep Calm and Detox On!” Ooohhh… I think we all need THAT t-shirt!

My stress levels are at an all-time high. Detox always helps me to take a step back, calm down, “look inward” as Lisa tells us… things I know I should do but struggle to make part of my daily whirlwind. I want to focus this time around on the things other than the food: the breathing, meditation, journaling, etc. I’ve been a bad detox diva when it comes to the “extra-credit” items in the past and I know they are the crucial piece I am missing.

Until this week, I had been in a slump, feeling tired, and down about my weight. I won the weight loss challenge at my gym 2 1/2 years ago and then, this year, with some added stressors, I put most of the weight right back on. A few weeks ago, I purchased your juice cleanse on Groupon and today is my fourth day (7 pounds down). I feel great! I am still amazed that I haven’t had the feeling of starvation, but no, not at all. I have more energy than I’ve had in ages.
Needless to say, I would love to win the fall detox and continue to learn more about cleaner eating. Now, that my weight loss has had a jump start, I’m ready for the next step. Thanks for the juices!

As I near 41 with three small children life seems to be running on super fast speed all the time! I have aches in places I only had when training for marathons before kids….I guess life now is my marathon. I feel like a detox could help with the aches? Inflammation,etc…and would help me kick-off a clean eating routine for me and my family. I want to purge our life of the processed junk and return to God’s intended foods for us….after having gestational diabetes last year I feel the need to change but often the “other stuff,” seeps back in….hopefully detoxing with the seasons will help me become more center in my priorities to maintain my health and my kids!!! And for none of us ever to develop diabetes!!!! And maybe even take off a bit more of this stuck on baby weight!

    Darling, Elizabeth, a lot of your pain is due to inflammation so incorporating alkaline foods from the detox (fruits, veggies, dark greens) will help. I feel great after every detox. I manage to incorporate more clean eating and new foods every time. But eventually, I fall back into unhealthy habits. My intention, this time, is to add one thing and improve one thing that I can continue for a longer period after the detox ends. Getting to bed on time is the main improvement. I don’t sleep and I know that’s one of the things holding me back from continued success. Adding the apple cider vinegar, especially during the winter. I just returned from vacation on an 8 hour flight where several people were coughing and/or sneezing for most of it. Boosting my immune system was all I could think about for those 8 hours.
Looking forward to ridding myself of all the junk my body has built up over the summer, so I can fight off whatever is in the air this winter. Thanks for all the support and tips and just everything.

I have gained a lot of weight due to stress from a number of areas of my life and I just don’t feel good. I have never done a cleanse before, but this sounds like a healthy opportunity. I would like to try this to convince my husband to do this as well. He complains of pain in his stomach, gall bladder and has headaches. It sounds like this program could really help both of us. Neither of us sleep well and that alone would help us. As mid-lifers with responsibilities on both ends, we sometimes don’t take the time or find the resources to take care of ourselves. Healthy eating and feeling better is where we both want to be!

What I’m hearing is that you and your husband are caught up in life like all of us, but it’s wonderful to see that your eyes are open, you are willing to make changes, to work towards your intentions. I used to be like this for years and now that I sleep straight through the night, I can’t even explain how amazing it feels to not be tired, grabbing at the coffee and any processed carby thing in site to keep me going. Our son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when he was 9 years old, so for the past 8 years we have been stocking our pantry with the foods that he needed – including the necessary carbs for his diet – while avoiding some of the healthier things that we liked because of his food allergies (peanuts, tree nuts, cherries, peas, some grains, beans, etc.). In addition, my husband is allergic to tree fruit – apples, peaches, plums, some cherries – which sometimes makes eating a challenge in our house. Couple that with a picky teenage daughter who has a difficult time gaining weight and you can see how meal planning and healthy snacking was sometimes a challenge.

My husband and I are looking age 50 square in the eye. We just became empty-nesters when our son left for college in August. While it’s a bittersweet time, we’re taking the time now to try to “clean up” our eating so that we can really enjoy this next phase of our lives together. We belong to a CSA and eat as much fresh, local food as we can, but we need that extra “push” with the planning and guidance that we’ve never had before to get us started. Thanks, Lisa!

I completely forgot to add my funny detox story!

I was doing my second, maybe third cleanse with Lisa and we were beginning to incorporate juices. I was new to juicing and had just treated myself to a juicer the week before. Apparently I was also new to beets (or drinking beet juice, at least). I called Lisa in a panic from the ladies room because I was convinced I was suffering some form of internal bleeding! Not to worry, it was just the beet juice making it’s way out of my system. Whew! As an added bonus, I got to let some co-workers wonder if I had turned vampire when they saw me drinking my beet juice from a mason jar. I like to keep people on their toes so I just smiled and drank up! 😉

I found out about you through Kathryn’s blog (she’s great!), and I love what you’re doing over here as well! I’ve struggled with my relationship with food my whole life…mostly because I just love it and get so much joy out of eating it 🙂 I’ve done different diets, gained and lost weight, started and stopped exercise programs…but never found anything sustainable. My focus this year has been to stop looking outside myself and really find what MY body needs and what makes ME feel the best. One healthy goal I have for this fall is to break away from processed and sugary foods. Growing up as a child of a single mom of 4 girls our meals consisted of anything that came out of a box or can. Now as a 45 year old woman, I need and want to set a better example for my own kids. I don’t want them to have the same eating habits as I did growing up. We eat fairly healthy but do fall into the traps of what we think is “an easy quick meal”. I realize that there is a lot of room for improvement in our daily diets and that we need to eat clean but I’m not sure where to begin.
