It’s Day 12! The weekend is here so time for festivities and fun. Remember to enjoy yourself but get in that green smoothie!

It’s always more fun sipping your smoothie in a fancy glass! And with a straw, too!  Am I right or what?

And today’s smoothie is sweeeeet. Sweet due to the yummy mejool dates.
The dates not only give us the natural sweetness to our drinks, they also help with, well, constipation and endurance (wink wink). Also I always stick a few dates in my DIY almond milk to sweeten things up a bit.

Dates are also packed with magnesium, potassium and manganese.  Let’s make Tasty Sweet!

Tasty Sweet Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 cup spinach
2 cups coconut water
1 banana (frozen)
¼ cup fresh strawberries (or ¼ cup frozen)
2-3 mejool dates, pitted
1 tsp. cinnamon
Boost: 1 Tbsp. gogi berries
