If you’re dragging in the mornings, can’t even open your eyelids when the alarm goes off, take a look at your stress.

Stress is the #1 cause of inflammation. AND we all know that inflammation leads to chronic illness (cancer, diabetes,  heart disease…) so make sure to take some time to breathe… just 3 deep breathes is all you need to reboot your thoughts and slow down.

The Fresh + Light Green Smoothie also alkalizes your cells and allows time for you to chill out. The banana is a great form of potassium as well as a perfect smoothie base. Kale provides lots of calcium and flaxseeds, omega 3’s. 

The peach will boost your immune system as well as provide a fresh taste to your drink. Try it!

Fresh + Light Green Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup kale
2 cups almond milk
1 banana (frozen preferred)
1 peach, pitted (or 1/4 cup frozen)
1 Tbsp. almond butter

Extra somethin’ somethin’:  1 Tbsp. flaxseeds

Blend ingredients and share with a +1.
Makes appr. 24 oz.
