Chia! Oh glorious, chia!
Chia seeds are now such a staple in my diet…I throw them in smoothies (chia seeds make smoothies extra creamy!), in soups, on top of my oatmeal, and even on my salads.
By eating chia seeds, you’ll not only be getting calcium, but also magnesium which helps with protecting our bones.
Chia seeds are high in antioxidants which helps you look younger as well as keep the tone of muscles. Being a complete protein, it helps to repair any muscle tissue in your body and keep you looking more toned and energized. Many athletes add chia to their smoothies and meals before workouts to help keep their blood sugar balanced as well as keep their energy up during the workouts.
Chia seeds make this Green Up smoothie super creamy. It tastes just like a creamsicle!
