Happy Belly Smoothie


Well, here we are… Day 5! AND how are you feeling? Any discoveries?

Remember as we sip on the green stuff, deep shifts are happening within your cells, without you even realizing. You might already be able to tell the difference with your sugar cravings or you have more energy or you just feel light. It’s all so magical!

You might have been reading the latest research so you will know about how important the lovely gut is. In fact, optimal health starts with our digestion. If we aren’t processing foods efficiently, this can cause many health issues down the road. So it’s crucial to eat as many anti-inflammatory foods as possible (veggies, fruits… and smoothies!) and avoid inflammatory foods (caffeine, sugar, gluten, dairy, alcohol, processed foods).

BUT remember, we will get into that more another time… we are just focusing on one green smoothie a day right now.
I have the PERFECT smoothie for our bellies… it’s called Happy Belly! All the ingredients support the digestive system and allow for smooth sailing when it comes to relieving IBS, acid reflux, bloating,etc…

½ cup kale
2 cups coconut water
1 banana (frozen preferred)
½ cup pineapple
1 Tbsp. mint
¼ tsp. ginger
